Reducing inappropriate antibiotic prescribing in primary care is a key element of antimicrobial stewardship. This study carried out GP surgeries Cornwall examined whether clarithromycin was being prescribed accordance with NICE guidance, and allergy status symptoms were correctly recorded the case patients who had penicillin noted.
